Cher Potter is a design and fashion forecaster leading Creative Direction at WGSN where she analyses changing tendencies in arts, design, architecture and new media in relation to fashion.
She is a Research Fellow at the V&A museum on Design Futures, visiting lecturer at the Architectural Association and has a regular column in 032C magazine on future design aesthetics. She holds a degree in philosophy, trained in women’s tailoring in Japan, and in fashion design at the Royal Academy, Antwerp; and has worked in research and development at designers Hussein Chalayan, Giles Deacon and Hamish Morrow.
