No Hate State – An anti-racism art making workshop
In line with our exhibition of Punk Politics Posters, which showcases a wide range of posters from 35 years of fighting racism with music, and together with Alchemy Arts, Summerhall presents an opportunity for youth to create vibrant melodic artwork with an anti-racism message.
Starting with a guided tour of the exhibition, the workshop continues with participants using recycled materials, and drawing inspiration from Summerhall’s exhibitions, music and urban youth culture to create collaborative artwork which will be displayed in Summerhall and projected at the Tinderbox Orchestra’s Frontiers Festival, a one day youth centred music and arts festival on the 15th of December at The Roxy.
Ticket Price: Free. Spaces are very limited and on a first come, first served basis.
Please email info@summerhall.co.uk with your name and contact number or email to reserve a space.
