Prologue is a project that awards three emerging visual artists & one emerging curator based in Scotland a significant visual art exhibition to be realised at Summerhall, Edinburgh’s newest and biggest arts venue.Through an open application Prologue identifies, supports and showcases some of the most exciting practitioners working in the Visual Arts in Scotland.

Three Visual Artists will produce a body of new work to be shown within a group exhibition at Summerhall in Spring 2013. One Curator will develop a separate exhibition with an agreed budget and outcome.

Supported by the Prologue project, the group will also explore developmental aspects of their practice that they would like to strengthen, such as researching, pricing, promotion, press & marketing – executed through a series of monthly discussions.

• Eligibility:
• Individual must be based in Scotland
• Not currently represented by a Gallery
• Graduated up to four years out of Art College/University
