Scottish Jazz Artists: Singer Judith Williams and Guitarist Nigel Clark, host this winter evening’s jazz session to launch their first record together.

Bringing the unique lady songstress qualities of Williams (shortlisted Best Scottish Jazz Vocalist 2013); together alongside Nigel Clark, with a reputation as one of the finest jazz guitarists in Europe and long term collaborator of Carol Kidd. This session promises to be an intimate evening of heartfelt, warm, beautiful lullaby song.

On the eve of the launch of ‘A Record | Judith Williams with Nigel Clark’, this is among the first opportunities to hear this beautiful collection of carefully co­carved arrangements of classic jazz tracks close to Williams heart coupled with the inimitable guitar of Clark.

Judith Williams is an artist: singer, actress and theatre maker; having performed in numerous award winning, film, television and theatre. Prompted by her being shortlisted as Best Jazz Vocalist Scotland 2013, she is putting music to the heart of her art.

Nigel Clark has worked with some of the biggest names in jazz and popular music. Recent recordings include his solo album Under The Stars (Circular Records) and Day Of The Duo a guitar duets album with Irish jazz guitarist Hugh Buckley.
