King Ayisoba mixes kologo music from the Upper East Region of Ghana with the energy and flavor of the ‘Modern Ghanaian’ dance scene. He sings in Frafra, Twi and in English, jumping from his low, guttural growl to moments of piercingly high interjection. Ayisoba plays the kologo, a two-string guitar with a calabash gourd resonator that allows skilled players to double up hard rhythms with twirling melodic refrains.

He will be joined by by fellow legendary Ghanaian kologo player, Ayuune Sule, as well as Zea (aka. Arnold de Boer) who is also the vocalist/guitarist of world fusion inspired punk legends, The Ex from Amsterdam. This will be an extraordinary night of Ghanaian and Western rhythms colliding in the best possible manner.
