Clock in at the Science Festival this Easter for a host of family fun… At Summerhall there are sensational science shows offering a world of new experiences and interactive workshops full of scientific and creative challenges. SciMart, serves up a tasty day out where you can explore the science of food and drink and pick up some tempting treats and don’t miss the Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire where you’ll discover a host of gadgets, gismos, crafts and creations.
You can learn all about the recent developments in dinosaur discovery in Abouttimeyousaurus: Meet The Newest Dinosaurs (April 4) or get grossed out during Dr Death and the Medi-Evil Medicine Show (April 13-14), an informative panto about medicine and diseases in Medieval times. Starting from April 16 Enter the Ming Modulator: the dome of noise, junk, booming bass, raw analogue circuitry and audio anarchy. And if you think you can handle more, be sure to hop on Wild About Scotland Bus (April 12) that starts its adventures at Summerhall. Packed full of interactive materials, our experts will take you into the watery world of the beaver, the wild existence of the highland tiger (the Scottish wildcat) and the wee lives of minibeasts.
