Since the 1990s, a mysterious suicide epidemic has been spreading in rural communities across the Venezuelan Andes. Having lost their daughters to suicide, Marcelina and Mercedes are two women who share a tragic fate with many others in the region. This poignant documentary presents an idyllic landscape, permeated with stillness and violence.
