Edinburgh folk Club’s famous Burns Night, complete with haggis, Tatties & Neeps, the Immortal Memory, the toast to the bard (including a dram) – but otherwise refreshingly informal, with lots of music, most of it provided this year by Haggerdash, a popular folk band from Lanarkshire who, over the years, have performed in folk clubs up and down the country, at Orkney, Marymass, Crawfordjohn, Lomond, Glenfarg, Roe Valley and Tinto Folk Festivals as well as Portsoy International Boat Festival and Edinburgh Festival. They are also regular visitors to Ballerup Music Festival in Denmark.
