Mediterraneo and Nothing Ever Happens Here present another wild edition of Edinburgh’s very own world music concert series. This special autumn edition goes ‘on the road’, will be fueled by the tunes of America and Italy – New Orleans jazz, bluegrass, americana, pizzica, and tarantella, all live, and in the legendary dissection hall at Summerhall.

So, hop on board the Mediterraneo wagon as it gets ready to hit the road westwards, with a huge crew of mighty musicians. The first to get on board will be bluegrass and americana aficionados Wayward Jane with their finely tuned Scottish/American folk.

Next up, Mediterraneo hosts and pizzica maestros The Badwills, with their foot-stomping ‘migrantella’ take on some southern Italy’s finest tunes.

Last on, Brass Gumbo’s funky feast will whip us into a Mardi Gras frenzy straight from the streets of New Orleans.
