Inspired by tradition, Anna & Elizabeth gather songs and stories to bring them to life with sparse, atmospheric arrangements using guitar, banjo, fiddle and uncanny close harmonies. They accompany their songs with story “crankies” – intricate picture-scrolls that illustrate the old songs.
