This venue has arguably grown to become the Fringe’s most exciting theatre hub. Highlights this year include Blank (6.30pm) by acclaimed Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, which will feature performers encouraging audience members to fill in gaps in the script; Macbain (3-14 Aug, 8.55pm), which will mash up the stories of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth with Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love; and Heads Up (7.05pm), by Kieran Hurley (pictured above), who first came to the fore in 2012 with another Fringe show, Beats.
