This year’s spring Balkanarama celebrates International Women’s Day, featuring music created and produced by various female Balkan artists from all around the world, as well as a performance of traditional Balkan female polyphonics! To mark this great occasion we’ll also be giving a small gift to each of our wonderful female guests.
Apart from that, expect all the usual ingredients for all around Balkan carnival (and for a truly original and amazing night!) – getting close and personal with virtuoso musicians in the Early Acoustic live Balkan Jam Session in the middle of the dance floor (starts as the doors open!), superb live music by the magnificent Baghdaddies, tantalising Gypsy Belly Dance performances, Glitter Stalls and Costume Boudoirs, Bespoke live Visuals, rakija tasting, free Balkan delicacies and so much more.

The experiential composer’s ninth official full-length, Konoyo was largely recorded during several trips to Japan where he collaborated with members of the gagaku ensemble Tokyo Gakuso, in a temple on the outskirts of Tokyo.
