What caused House of All to come together is something of a mystery. Martin Bramah has joined forces with other mighty members of Fall alumni Steve Hanley (The Fall‘s longest-serving bassist) and his brother Paul Hanley, who drummed on what may be the best run of Fall records – from Grotesque to Bend Sinister. Joining them are two surprise members: drummer Simon Wolstencroft, who joined The Fall around the time Paul left, and guitarist Pete Greenway, the band’s long-serving and final guitarist.
House of All‘s new album was recorded in a burst of intense creativity and stands with much of the best Fall or Blue Orchid music.
