The Edinburgh International Science Festival is once again taking over Summerhall for two weeks in April to bring a huge array of science packed talks, activities, workshops and more.

The 2018 Edinburgh International Science Festival is celebrating Life, the Universe and Everything. There’s something for everyone at this year’s Festival, with family shows and performances open to all ages, and in-depth and thought-provoking debates and discussions for adults. The Festival runs from March 31-April 15, with a jam-packed programme featuring everything you could ever want to know about science.

The Experimentarium returns to Summerhall for a second year, opening up minds on robots, air pollution, food and more with hands-on activities for all ages. It’s a free-drop in event young people and adults will learn a little something and try out a new activity.

The Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire is back again to celebrate weird and wonderful creations from makers all around Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Held on the last Sunday of the Festival, the Mini Maker Faire will showcase loads of different ideas and inventions from hardware and software, to food and drink, to crafts and gadgets.

Make sure you pop in to Summerhall this Easter school holidays to be inspired, try out an activity and learn something new.
