A new contemporary multi-arts festival offering diverse creative responses to Burns. Featured are over 30 visual artists, an Alternative Burns Night, a Flyting competition, a tailor made programme of music as well as children’s performance and workshops as well as a series of Whisky Masterclasses.
A live music event especially curated to fit with the themes of the Burns Unbroke festival. Folk-noir balladeer Rachel Sermanni’s work has been described as ‘Stately, Poetic, Rooted in the Traditional’ (Clash) and she cites Burns as an inspiration.

Deep in the basement, beneath the galleries and lecture theatres, something new fuels the boiler room and ancient generators. Strobe and haze through neon pipes ignite the Former Women’s Locker Room back to life. Down the corridor awaits INCINERATOR; Electro, Disco, Dance and Techno.
