4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane
4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane
Depression, suicide, sadness…words that make people shy away from talking and reluctant to open up. It is about time we started to take a look at why suicide rates are rising and what these people are feeling to push them to this extreme.
Come join the Edinburgh Acting School’s Performance Class as they stage Sarah Kane’s powerful play, 4.48 Psychosis. This piece takes a look at the isolated, dark corners of a human mind during depression and when suffering from suicidal thoughts. It is an interpretive piece where the audience must search to find what they see within the performance and try to get an insight into the psyche of someone who feels this way.
The Scottish Association for Mental Health will also be joining us on the night to collect donations for their mental health work.
Due to adult content and language this will be an 18+ performance.
