Welcome to the laboratory; where wooden topped benches, ceramic sinks and drawers full of liqueurs and other curious ingredients await you, for an evening of botany and mixology!

Learn about the ancient art of botany, before combining this with mixology to shake up your own Pickering’s Gin ‘Peacocktails’. Your tutor and mixologist will walk you through the skills of infusion, muddling and garnish making before you relax and enjoy your creations.

The evening also includes an expert led tour of Pickering’s Gin Distillery – Edinburgh’s first gin distillery in over 150 years. Where small batches of hand crafted, beautifully balanced, marvellously mixed Pickering’s Gin is produced. Guests will; see how hand crafted, small batch gin is made; marvel at the botanicals room, still and bottling line; and get to sample the gin at different stages in the distilling process.
