CAESURA is a series of bespoke spoken word events that champion experimental and engaging work through stripped-back, often anarchic, performances. Since March 2012 CAESURA has run on a monthly basis at venues throughout Edinburgh and has featured performance from local and visiting artists at the forefront of innovative writing and performance.

Performers for CAESURA #17 include legendary publisher and writer John Calder (the man who brought us Beckett, Burroughs, Trocchi…), avant-garde nature poet and artist Alec Finlay, local radical poet and producer of the techno-poetry series Syndicate Samantha Walton and Cumbrian writer James Oates.
