Pia Juul (born 1962 in Denmark) will read of her novel “Murder of Halland”, which was published in the UK last summer. She can look back on an outstanding career and has contributed to Danish literature with diverse and subtle work. Pia has won several awards, whereof the latest was the Danish Critics Choice award in 2012. Ali Smith (born 1962 in Scotland) will read from her book “Artful” (2012) and from her newest publication “Shire” (including artwork by Sarah Wood) (2013). Since her debut in 1995, Ali has been the author of highly acclaimed collections of short stories and novels.
