Inspired by time spent in the Westfjords of Iceland, D ý r a is a multidisciplinary project which uses landscape and sleep as a method for creating sound and exploring altered states of consciousness. Collaborating with a team of digital designers, sound specialists and artists, SHHE – Scottish-Portuguese artist and producer, Su Shaw – will create a sonic, visual and meditative reimagining of Dýrafjörður in front of a live audience.
D ý r a has been developed in Summerhall Lab, part of Summerhall’s artist development programme. Funding for the full programme comes from Creative Scotland.
