Join Tony McKibbin for a clip based series of discussions on cinema. Each week we will look at an aspect of film – the story, the image, the sound, the acting… Each week we will look at an aspect of film – the story, the image, the sound, the acting – and talk about the way that images create in us certain thoughts and feelings. The film clips will include work by Jean Renoir, Michelangelo Antonioni, Robert Bresson, Jean-Luc Godard, Martin Scorsese, Ken Loach, Terrence Malick, as well as numerous other filmmakers.
