Company: Swallow The Sea
Physical, absurdist, object theatre exploring the transmogrification of two lightshades. A short form piece full of imaginative, quirky humour which explores the comic potential of objects we all take for granted – Samuel Beckett and Edward Lear’s lovechild with a live vocal score. Lamp has a strong visual narrative with no spoken dialogue.
The piece has a strong visual narrative and little to no spoken dialogue. There is use of complex soundscapes to inform the story. Transcripts of songs’ lyrics, and descriptions of each piece are available to collect at the Basement.
