A riot of drums, brass, street bands, dressing up, authentic New Orleans cuisine revelry and dancing!

Featuring for one night only distinguished members of  ORKESTRA DEL SOL & HORNDOG BRASS BAND and selected renegade horn players masquerading as the MARDI GRAS ALLSTARS.

Plus: Bristol Branch (Cajun, Forro and Brazialian carnival classics), Puff Uproar (Cacophonous brass and bone-shaking rhythm), Brass Aye (Glasgow’s finest brass funk marching band) & Afzali (Middle Eastern Celtic Fusion with belly dancers).

Also youth bands: Penguin’s Tuxedo marching Band, Pulse of the Place and Pace

And that’s not all with surprise guests; walkabout acts, amazing costumes, VJs, Js, hot food and more!

There will be a Mardi Gras warm-up from noon at the Pavilion Cafe (Meadows) featuring live music, face-painting, stalls and family fun!
