Created by brothers Orestis and Lysandros Falireas in 2007, Imam Baildi combines Greek music of the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s with intuitive production and remixing techniques.
After 10 years, 4 albums under Universal Music, and performances in more than 20 countries, Imam Baildi are the most prominent and recognizable contemporary Greek music project in the international music circuit.
Their 7-piece band performs a 100% danceable act that attracts foreign and Greek audiences alike. Past perfromances include 5 European club tours, and major international festivals, among which Rosklide, Sziget, Lowlands, Transmusicales de Rennes, South by Southwest and Montreal Jazz Festival.
In 2016, the band released their Live Album and played more than 80 shows including sold – out performances in Paris, London, Berlin, Zurich and Brussels.
From June 2017 onwards Imam Baildi will be performing for their 10 Year Anniversary Tour. Their 4th studio album will be released following the tour’s completion.
