Swampfog are a horn-heavy 7 piece band devoted to the music of New Orleans and its wide reach through jazz, blues and funk. Since their formation in early 2016 they have built a loyal following through their late night residency at The Jazz Bar, performed a live session for BBC Radio Scotland’s “Jazz Nights at The Quay” series, and presented Swampfog play The Meters for Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, expanding to a 13-piece monster with guests from New Orleans, paying tribute to the founding fathers of New Orleans funk.
