Following a sell-out show at Celtic Connections 2018 performing Joni Mitchell’s ‘Court and Spark’, Start to End and leading Scottish vocalist Rachel Lightbody team up once more for a night celebrating Carole King’s classic 1971 album Tapestry. Featuring hits such as “It’s Too Late”, “I Feel the Earth Move”, “You’ve Got a Friend”, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” and the all-time classic “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, this show will be a true rendition of this legendary album with an all-star cast of young Scottish musicians.
With support from Hamish Hawk.
From the Start to End team behind the performances of John Martyn’s ‘Solid Air’ at Edinburgh Fringe in August 2018 and Joni Mitchell’s ‘Court and Spark’ at Celtic Connections 2018, comes their take on Van Morrison’s 1968 sophomore album ‘Astral Weeks’.
Some of Scotland’s leading young musicians perform their favourite albums in full from Start to End. Featuring Sam West on vocals and members of Admiral Fallow, Roddy Hart & the Lonesome Fire, Fat-Suit and Pronto Mama.
Having brought the house down at both last year’s Fringe Festival & Xmas Summerhall shows, the outstanding ‘Transatlantic Ensemble’ make a welcome return, by popular demand to perform Fleetwood Mac’s iconic ‘Rumours’ album in it’s entirety.
James Yorkston returns to Summerhall to celebrate the release of his new album The Route to the Harmonium on Feb 22nd 2019.
