The Kung Fu Film Festival aims to showcase the strength of East meeting West, with Kung Fu cinema as the figurehead of that celebration. Suffrajitsu is the feminist-led dynamic to our Kung Fu Film Festival, taking its name from the British Suffragettes who taught themselves Jui Jitsu in 1918 to stop police brutality during their peaceful protests.
Any ticket holder that feels they have a feminine identity of any kind is allowed to participate, and if they bring their ticket stub from any Kung Fu film screening they are promised free entry.
