Everyone loves a good ceilidh!

We’ve hired out the beautiful Summerhall and the fantastic Science Ceilidh band to get the party started, so be prepared for an exciting evening. Don’t worry if you don’t know the dances (yet) – they will bring a scientist ‘caller’ to lead us through all the steps.

You can take a breather from dancing to travel back in time to the 1950s in the Histology Lab, and have a go at some hands on science. With short films, a little bit of theatre and a hint of the fairground this is more than just a ceilidh. Meet your local scientists and join the Science Ceilidh band in the dissection room as we brew up a hoolie in aid of Cancer Research UK.

There will be a licensed bar and the doors open at 7pm.

Tickets available on the night at the door or buy them in advance at the discounted rate.

Print your ticket and bring it along with you for entry.

Tickets are £7 in advance (via eventbrite) or £10/£8 on the night. There will only be counter sales at Summerhall, tickets will not be available to buy from the Summerhall Website .
