Mary Walters is a visual artist working in a range of media, including print-making, and projection installation.

She is inspired mainly by wilderness landscapes, a result of previous study of geography and geology . She has worked for many years nationally and internationally in both formal and informal education, in community arts and most recently within special education in Edinburgh. She is now based at Summerhall, and lives locally.
