Alt Rock Punk Triple Bill

Local music chameleon Oliver Wardell brings his own chaotic and diverse sounds to Summerhall’s Old Lab with the help of his backing band The Personnel. Oliver’s oscillating mix of songs from his new album “Oliver Died on the way to his home Planet” is represented through a visceral punk and metal sound that isn’t afraid of poking fun at itself. For people whose favourite reaction to stimuli is “what the hell just happened?!”.

Formed in 2019, Gutterblood fuse elements of blues, indie, doom, punk and politics. The band released their debut album in 2022 mastered by John McBain of Monster Magnet and QOTSA fame, receiving critical acclaim in the worldwide metal, punk and indie press. Gutterblood seize the cultural climate of the day, using samples and heavy, groove driven dynamics and uniquely prefer to work with guest vocalists and musicians on many of their tracks and live arena. In May 2023 Gutterblood released Gardyloo, their first 7″ as a split with Scottish anarcho punk legends Oi Polloi and this was followed by their first 10″ E.P entitled ‘Hard Gandhi‘ in 2024.
