Bel Cobain has proven herself to be a multi-dimensional artist, translating her message through stories, artwork, poetry and, most favoured, her emotive musicality. Cobain’s entrancing, yet soft and mellow vocals have carried her across various genres, highlighting her enigmatic presence which all comes alive when she performs. 2023 has been vibrant for Cobain, with her Radical Forgiveness EP and some exciting showcases taking us further into the world of Bel Cobain.
Support comes from Kohla – between the crackles of vinyl and the rummaging of vintage cassette tapes, singer-songwriter and producer Kohla crafts a timeless yet futuristic take on classic soul. Turning to legendary 60s artists for initial inspiration, such as Sam Cooke, Etta James and Nat King Cole, she polishes her cinematic production with the contemporary sheen of Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey and FKA twigs. Kohla’s internationally acclaimed debut album ‘Romance’ is out now.
