Welcome to the Lab Sessions

An evening of adventurous live and DJ electronic music and visual art, a multi sensory realm in which sound and vision intertwine.

Featuring two co-headline live sets from HC Kurtz and Nick Dow.

Nick Dow brings Experimental Electronica with flavours of post-dubstep. Cinematic melodies combine with organic instrumentation and visceral textures to envelope the listener in a world of surging musical landscapes. (past releases on Traum, Herzblut)

Hc Kurtz is a producer and DJ of Techno and Electronic music, utilising space, depth and structure to create stripped back arrangements that explore core creative ideas. Inspired by the emotive and narrative nature of cinematic soundscapes, Hc Kurtz strives to evoke this in both his production and live sets, resulting in a unique, progressive sound and a bespoke dance floor dynamic. Finishing up the evening with a dance focussed Dj set from Brian Hutchison (Incinerator, Machine Shop) playing upbeat electronica, minimal techno and anything else with synths and beats from the likes of Bicep, Rival Consoles, Miss Kittin, Orbital, Justice etc…

Forged in the clubs of Berlin, this collective of artists bring you a taste of the experimental, an insight into their unique creative perspectives and a trip into an electronic world. Ethereal drones and pulsating beats combine to create a sonic landscape, blurring the lines between club, electronic and elemental music.
