Summerhall’s annual Christmas Market returns in December 2022, and this year’s market will be bigger than ever!
Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December, the Christmas Market will include indoor and outdoor stalls featuring some of Edinburgh and Scotland’s best independent makers as well as tasty food stands and entertainment throughout the day. On Saturday we have a community choir made up of local residents from the Lyceum’s production of a Christmas Carol offering some festive singing, and on Sunday we have our resident choir, the Summerhall Singers, singing carols around the site. Drop in anytime between 11:00 – 18:00 on both days.
Entry: £3 on the door or Free for Under 18s!

As part of our Big Christmas Weekend, the Edinburgh Ceilidh Club are coming to the Gallery Bar for a special festive evening of reeling. Come and enjoy a taste of the Edinburgh Ceilidh Club’s high quality line up of bands and tuck into a mince pie (or two!). With bar service available for all attendees, we will be offering our usual selection of beverages as well as the seasonal favourite Mulled wine. Come on down for a proper knees up! The Christmas fun continues with John Hegley’s Pre-Christmas Crackers show! Poet and musician John returns with his rhymes, animal drawings and of course, his mandolin, to bring some pre-Christmas cheer to our Big Christmas Weekend. Tickets available here.
