Maeberry Jewellery

Having always been interested in all things creative, Carol developed an interest in jewellery making over 10 years ago and started off making simple beaded items.

With a desire to develop further she undertook classes at Edinburgh College of Art and Leith School of Art in jewellery making and metal working and after initially working from home she moved to Summerhall in 2014 and started Maeberry Jewellery in 2015.

Carol makes all her jewellery by hand using traditional jewellery and metal smithing techniques such as saw piercing and forging.

She loves to add interest to the simple shapes that she creates by adding colour and texture and achieves this by using a variety of materials and techniques. She works predominantly in silver but other materials that are used include enamel paint, gold leaf and resin.
