Diana Zwibach’s works are filled with semi abstract figures presented in different situations. She identifies links with artists such as Francisco Goya and Picasso, and the poet Federico Garcia Lorca, with her creations similarly depicting passion, violent and political happenings, and the liberation of the human spirit. Zwibach also explores the role women have played in her life, acknowledging their resourceful and imaginative nature, standing strong in their convictions, wherever they are geographically.

Diana Zwibach was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. At the age of eleven she moved with her parents to Ethiopia for several years, then emigrated to Israel where she completed her education and studies at the Bezalel Art Academy winning a national art prize to further her studies in England where she gained a higher Diploma in Printmaking at Chelsea School of art and a Masters in painting at The Royal College of Art, London. In 1975 Zwibach married and settled in Lancashire. Zwibach has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions and her works are in many private collections and museums.
