The exhibition presents a selection of works on paper by Aleksandra Zawada since 2014 to date. Hand scribed with modest means on paper, drawn from the interconnection of thoughts, forms, transcripts and codes from the world around and inner of the artist. Materials are simple: one medium, one simple sheet paper, repeated and gathered in thirteen multi-layered series. Works interconnect into web of personal, but also chance elements. A series of work reveal as much as it conceals. The exhibition is the first showcase of drawing by artist and is part of the RSA Open Summerhall Exhibition Award 2015.
