The Jill Todd Photographic Award was initiated in 2011 by close photographic associates of Jill, who had her life taken by cancer just over one year from graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a 1st Class Hons. Degree in Photography and Film.

The objectives of the Award were formed in deference to Jill’s successful early career progression as a recognised emerging talent in Scotland.

The Award is open to those photographic artists within three years of graduation from Photography and Art degree courses in Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Unlike other similar awards, which are mainly based around ‘degree show’ work, The Jill Todd Photographic Award encourages the making of a new body of work of between five and twelve pieces, based on an ‘Open’ theme.

This year the Jill Todd Photographic Award celebrates its 6th year.

Exhibition Preview: Friday 03/11/17, 18:00-20:00
