Nothing’s Guaranteed: Exhibition of Bosno-Futurism
Presenting a parallel exploration of the intersection between imagination and technology, Nothing’s Guaranteed: Exhibition of Bosno-Futurism is curated by Jon Blackwood, reader and research lead at Gray’s School of Art. Exploring the rich aesthetic of Afrofuturism through the work of six contemporary mixed-media artists; Igor Bošnjak, Mladen Bundalo, Lana Čmajčanin, Lala Raščić, Sasha Tatić, Maja Zećo, from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nothing’s Guaranteed sees cutting edge European art depicting themes of Balkan futurism. Nothing’s Guaranteed asks the question; ‘who is bold enough to imagine an alternative future?’ The exhibition is accompanied by a full colour catalogue with essays from Blackwood and Irfan Hošić, director and founder of the KRAK Centre for Contemporary Culture in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
