Out of Sight Out of Mind is an ambitious multimedia exhibition, which this year proudly showcases artworks made by more than 100 exhibitors who have lived experience of mental health issues, at Summerhall in Edinburgh this October.

With mental health and wellbeing having been discussed widely during the past 18 months in the public realm, the exhibition returns for its ninth year with even more relevance to audiences.

Organisers create a welcoming and inclusive environment, which promotes self-expression and allows us all to observe our diverse human experiences whilst celebrating the parts which connect and unify us.

The exhibition shows paintings, drawings, prints, films, sculptures, and installations, both at Summerhall and on the Out of Sight Out of Mind website. The exhibition celebrates the diversity and power of humans, our respective worlds and experiences.

Launching online on the evening of the 12th of October, and open at Summerhall from the 13 to 30 of October and via the online exhibition here: www.outofsightoutofmind.scot

In the midst of life’s challenges, Out of Sight Out of Mind creates a space for people’s voices to be shared and heard. When brought together at the exhibition, a community of solidarity and support is created, where differences and commonalities make us all the more powerful when we speak.

Organisers and exhibitors look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition.
