MESH is a group of emerging artists from diverse backgrounds who studied together on the Combined Studies (Art and Design) BA Degree at Edinburgh College of Art. The group was formed in 2011 to provide peer support, networking, and opportunities to collaborate and exhibit together. The members of the group draw inspiration from the natural environment and promote themes of sustainability, and ecological matters in their working practice.

For this exhibition REWORKED, members of the group, together with invited friends, will seek out research pieces and trial studies, further work them either individually or in groups, and present them in reworked form. In this way, the group intends to better understand their own personal artistic development and, since considerable time may have passed since the first investigations, to overcome any fear of departure from these.
