You are invited to join these two brilliant roots reggae soundsystem crews for a friendly meet up that is also a celebration of the birth of the Edinburgh Dub Club which will exist to promote occasional dances in Edinburgh – for the love of music.

Mighty Oak, based out of the Scottish Borders will be no strangers to many of you, purveyors of the finest roots reggae and dubwise cuts alongside original productions from Jofis. All played on their fine hand-built and highly regarded soundsystem. 

In the other corner we welcome to Scotland for the first time the stunning Bushrocker Hi-Fi Family our of Lancashire. Founded by Colin “COJO” Joseph (R.I.P), a well known soundman/selector on the UK roots scene, now the sound is ran/maintained by Davey, Matty Banton, Prof.P, Sister Emma, Alexis, Lady Ce & the Bushrocker Family. Over the years the sound has played in session/ supported/hosted the likes of Jah Youth Roots Ambassador, Aba Shanti-I, Addis Pablo, Messenger, Freedom Masses, Ital Horns, Conscious Sounds, Mungos Hi Fi & Ramon Judah to name a few. They are also a firm fixture at the popular Beatherder Festival.
