Mediterraneo 10th anniversary special edition! With The Badwills, Bristol Branch, and TuFlamenco

Mediterraneo is 10 years old, and it’s time to celebrate with a huge party edition of Edinburgh’s very own world music concert series! So come join us for one wild night of live Italian Pizzica, Brazilian Forro, and Spanish Flamenco firing up Summerhall’s dissection room.

Three bands and 18 musicians will take the stage, complete with furious tambourines, fiddles, guitars, cavaquinho, accordions and dance moves from three corners of the world. Hosts, The Badwills will be bringing their fiery southern Italian pizzica, tarantella and tammuriata with a special extended line up. They will be joined by Scotland’s own maestros of Northern Brazilian Forro, Bristol Branch, as well as the mighty TuFlamenco with their full body sounds of Southern Spanish Flamenco to get your feet moving and hands clapping.
