Poets Talk: Pascale Petit and Will Harris

Pascale Petit’s latest (and eighth!) collection, ‘Tiger Girl’, was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection in 2020. In the same year, debut poet Will Harris won Best First Collection for ‘Rendang’. With both collections out in year one of the COVID pandemic, Push the Boat Out couldn’t help but bring together these two incredible poets, live and in-person.

Whilst at different points in their careers, Petit and Harris both occupy vibrant and exciting spaces in the UK’s contemporary poetry landscape. Chaired by the Scottish Poetry Library’s Project Coordinator, Samuel Tongue, this conversation is one not to be missed.
