Revolt!

Sonic experimentation and artistic freedom – Revolt is now at Summerhall for its second edition of queer experimentalism. Expect a blend of techno and experimental electronic music from qik.uh (11pm-1am) and resident DJ Petfood (1am-3am), alongside a curated exhibit of multimedia art by Holly Hollis and additional work by resident artist Harley Beentjes.

Revolt is an attempt at interlacing the clubnight experience with a holistic experience of creativity and experimentation. Each edition will feature a unique art installation made by artists from Edinburgh and beyond, as well as uniquely-crafted sounds and visuals from residents Petfood and Harley Beentjes.

Creating a space that allows for total freedom of expression without boundary is one of our central tenets. Revolt is a space for liberation of all kinds. Revolt is a night for queer people and Othered human beings. Respecting your fellow partygoer is an obvious imperative. As such, we will not tolerate any breaches or abuses of any kind towards anyone in the wider Revolt community.
