The Scars of Ali Boulala (11+)

Ali Boulala became legendary in the 1990s for being the most fearless and eccentric skateboarder of his time. In 2007, Ali and his teammate were in a tragic motorbike accident, something that changed Ali and the skateboarding community forever. Using private archive material and newly shot scenes, the film tells the story of Ali’s rise and fall, as well as his path towards possible redemption. Ali must now decide if he is ready to confront his past, or if some wounds can’t be healed.

This exclusive screening will be the U.K. premiere of the film, brought to you by Sisyfos Film Production. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q+A in the cinema with director Max Eriksson, as well as Ali Boulala himself.
