This month long exhibition presented by CIFAL Scotland celebrates and preserves the health and diversity of Scotland’s soils. The exhibition marks the UN International Year of Soils and provides a creative platform for showcasing Scotland’s engagement with the Earth’s tender skin, using the best available scientific information, building on all dimensions of sustainable development.

CIFAL SCOTLAND is the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Affiliated Training Centre in Northern Europe, based in Edinburgh. CIFAL empowers individuals, governments and organisations through knowledge and learning to effectively implement sustainable development, and other associated UN international conventions.
