Disposable + Brasser

Described by Distorted Sound Magazine as a “furious, unrelenting combination of gritty vocals, blistering riffs and hammer-blow like drums”, Edinburgh’s veteran thrashers Disposable have been delivering their energetic and ferocious brand of metal to crowds in the UK and Europe for almost 15 years. From their feistier youth to a more polished and mature sound in recent years, Disposable appear at Summerhall for the very first time, promising to bring with them a set that leaves no stone unturned in journeying through every release of their career thus far, including long since discarded deep cuts, fan favourites and never before heard material.

The band currently dwells within the very walls of Summerhall, residing in Tonegarden studio – so this show is set to be the heavy, hard hitting homecoming that no one expected to happen.

Brasser are an energetic and heavy alt-rock duo from Glasgow, made up of Paul Mills and Aidan McAllister, fusing together complex arrangements with soaring harmonies and driving rhythms. Their unique blend of post-hardcore and metal stylings coupled with their precise, refined live show has already certified them as an act not to be missed.

Rounding out an eclectic, guitar heavy evening we have Edinburgh’s most sophisticated jazz fusion shredders Slow Karma.
