It Follows (15) The CineSkinny Film Club Horror Special

The CineSkinny Film Club, from the team behind The Skinny magazine, presents David Robert Mitchell’s gorgeous horror It Follows. The premise is simple but delicious: a group of teens are being terrorised by a sexually transmitted curse that causes a monster to follow its victims to the death, assuming any form, visible only to the victim, coming for them day or nighth. Mitchell’s dreamy aesthetic, full of slow zooms and 360 degree pans, will make your hairs stand on end, while the terrifying and seductive music by Disasterpeace is one of the most chilling film scores in recent memory. We’ve paired this with a retrospective of the transgressive short films from prolific Glasgow filmmaker Bryan M Ferguson.
