The New Girl (15)

(La chica nueva, 2021) Jimena travels to Río Grande, in the Argentinian island of Tierra del Fuego, to join her half-brother Mariano. With almost no money, she manages to arrive there with the hope that she will do better. The wind, the cold and the complex context of economic crisis will make Jimena develop her empathy and sense of belonging with the people around her, and she will learn to acknowledge and finally accept her real self.
