This year, as part of Ten Tracks’ exploration of the cinéconcert format, the LuckyMe collective bring Mike Slott to the Fringe to perform his alternative soundtrack live to the award-winning Russian film ‘The Return’.

Mike Slott is an Irish producer who now operates fromNew York City. Slott’s productions are characterized by layered dark hip hop beats complemented by haunting melodies, adventurous electronica and jazzy roots, carving out a unique spot in the LuckyMe family alongside peers such as Rustie and Hudson Mohawke.

The Return (2003), the debut film by Russian director Andrei Zvyagintsev, surprised many film lovers and earned global praise for its beautiful cinematography, art direction and acting.
